TOMORROW'S APPEALS AND ENQUIRIES TO BE HEARD BY THE DISCIPLINARY PANEL
9am - Kevin Darley
The Disciplinary Panel of the Jockey Club will consider an appeal lodged by Kevin Darley, the rider of MEANINGFUL, placed fourth in the European Breeders Fund Maiden Stakes, against the decision of the Stewards at Ayr following an enquiry on 11th July 2005 to find him in breach of Rule 156(i) for failing to ride out approaching the finish thereby forfeiting third place and to suspend him from riding for ten days.
10.30am - Alan Munro
The Disciplinary Panel of the Jockey Club will hold an enquiry to consider whether or not Alan Munro, a licensed jockey, has committed a breach of Rule 220 (ii) (a) of the Rules of Racing, in respect of his apparent assault of Richard Quinn in the Jockeys' Changing Room at Newmarket on 21st May 2005.
11.30am - Dean McKeown
The Disciplinary Panel of the Jockey Club will consider an appeal lodged by Dean McKeown, the rider of the winner, OUNINPOHJA (IRE) against the decision of the Stewards at Doncaster to find him guilty of improper riding and in breach of Jockey Club Instruction H9 headed "Use of the Whip" in that he used his whip with excessive frequency and without allowing his horse time to respond, and suspended him from riding for two days, following his ride in the Sands Venue Stakes (Handicap) at Doncaster on 14th July 2005.
2pm - Jamie Poulton
The Disciplinary Panel of the Jockey Club will hold an enquiry to consider whether or not Jamie Poulton, a Licensed Trainer, has committed breaches of Rule 195 (e), in respect of his failure to pay Miss V L K Joyce the sum of £280 as shown on his Stable Percentage Money Return for the period ending 31st July 2004; and Rule 221B (i), in the light of Jockey Club Instruction A6 headed 'Terms and Conditions of Service in Stables', in respect of his failure to pay Miss Joyce, either at the time of her leaving (9th August 2004) or subsequently, her final week's wage of £220.
