LOOKING AHEAD TO ASCOT AND GOODWOOD


This weekend saw build-up to two of the next big meetings begin as Torosay Spring, Curfew and Halmahera give good accounts stamp their authority on the Vodafone Stewards’ Cup market.

Earlier in the week from Newmarket, Patavellian was thrust to the head of the Stewards’ betting at 8-1 by William Hill with a front running victory.


Macadamia justified her position at the front of the William Hill Mile and Millenary saw renewed form to take the Princess of Wales’s Stakes and boost his King George chances.

All this ante-post activity, however, has resulted in a quiet Sunday and there are no market moves with William Hill today.
