BP= the best price at the time of writing

1) (1) 1-56 Bulwark Amanda Perrett 4-9-09eb Kerrin McEvoy
Developed into a useful staying handicapper last year and goes particularly well for Kerrin McEvoy - five rides on him and four wins - no other jockey has won on the four-year-old. Luckless run when sixth in Chester Cup last time and is definitely one to consider. BP= 4/1

2) (11) 810/ Dorothy’s Friend Roger Charlton 6-9-08 Ted Durcan
Decent handicapper two years ago when winning Shergar Cup event at Ascot. Not seen out since 2004 and is surely best watched today. BP= 12/1

3) (4) 07-5 Mirjan Len Lungo 10-9-08 Paul Hanagan
Decent handicap hurdler who is equally adept on the Flat, as he proved when landing the 2004 Northumberland Plate. Fine comeback at York last time over too short a distance with the main worry being the ground (best for on good or softer). BP= 14/1

4) (6) 11-7 Colloquial Henry Candy 5-9-06v1 Fergus Sweeney
Ran better than finishing position would suggest behind Toldo last time out at Ascot, beaten only three lengths, and this lightly-raced sort is open to improvement in a first-time visor. BP= 9/1

5) (8) 8451 Toldo George Moore 4-9-03 Shane Kelly
Seemed to show improved form when successful last time out at Ascot, although he did have the benefit of his favoured easy surface that day. Others preferred this time. BP= 11/1

6) (7) 61-2 Wing Collar Tim Easterby 5-9-03p David Allan
Thorough stayer who showed he was in good heart when second at York over 14 furlongs on seasonal debut. Open to improvement and likes fast ground. BP= 8/1

7) ) (5) 000- Star Member Ian Williams 7-9-03 Eddie Ahern
Wasn’t in great form on the Flat last season and despite winning a couple of races over hurdles in the winter, he probably needs to drop down the handicap at his age. BP=
33/1

8) (2) 0/4- Tiyoun Jedd O’Keeffe 8-9-03 Dale Gibson
Would have an outside chance on bits of his form but is lightly raced and will probably need the run. BP= 50/1

9(3) 6606 Hiddensee Mark Johnston 4-9-02 Kevin Darley
Hardy to fancy given his form earlier this season and will probably need to drop down the handicap. BP= 16/1

10) (9) -321 Numero Due George Moore 4-9-00 Jamie Spencer
Seldom runs a bad race and rewarded with a win at Thirsk last time. This is a tougher proposition but he must surely be thereabouts. BP= 5/2

11) (12) 60-0 Anousa Paul Howling 5-8-12 Francis Norton
Listed winner two seasons ago but lightly raced since and no immediate promise on reappearance. BP= 66/1

12) (10) 76-2 Valance Charles Egerton 6-8-11 Robert Winston
A winner on the Flat, over hurdles and over fences. Good effort on reappearance but he looks slightly up against it in this company. BP= 11/1

SUMMARY
An open handicap, with several in with a chance. Colloquial should be more at home on this ground and strip fitter for his reappearance at Ascot a fortnight ago. Good each-way value.
