BP= the best price at the time of writing

3:45pm £15,000 added Vodafone Handicap Hurdle 2m 110yds

1) 21U113 Desert Quest (IRE) Paul Nicholls 6-11-12 Liam Heard (5)
Consistent sort who has done well this season but has gone up steadily in the handicap for winning and has not run since third at Windsor before Christmas. He is s sjort price here and worth opposing. BP= 7/2

2) F6P-236 Goldbrook Ron Hodges 8-11-10 James White (7)
Slightly disappointing sort but James White seems to get on better with him than other jockeys after being absent for a disappointing run at Wincanton last month. BP= 33/1

3) 1042P4 Amour Multiple (IRE) S Lycett 7-11-10 Robert Thornton
Ex French sort who has had three runs in British novice hurdles. Fourth at Wincanton last month and seems to have it to do. BP= 50/1

4) 202163- Greenhope (IRE) Nicky Henderson 8-11-09 Mick Fitzgerald
Last ran over hurdles in April 2004 and went novice chasing last year. First outing since April but trainer can get them ready first time out. BP= 10/1

5) 2-1332 Fandani (GER) Charlie Mann 6-11-07 Noel Fehily
Another novice hurdler. He has been very consistent, winning at Wincanton in May but he has not run since November. BP= 16/1

6) 2-25 Classic Role Lawrence Wells 7-11-07 Jamie Moore
Another novice hurdler having his first run in a handicap. Well beaten last month at Exeter but had done better when second to Straw Bear at Folkestone in January. BP= 12/1

7) 11211 Tokala Brendan Powell 5-11-07 Tony McCoy
Has won four of his five outings over hurdles but this is is his first handicaop and is a much tougher proposition - worth opposing. BP= 5/1

8) 43-2161 Pirate Flagship (FR) Paul Nicholls 7-11-07 Ruby Walsh
Awarded a novices handicap hurdle at Cheltenham on January 1 when hampered by stable companion. Has more to do here. BP= 7/1

9) 2-0058P Salut Saint Cloud Gary Moore NON-RUNNER

10) 531 Topkat (IRE) Martin Pipe 5-11-03 Tom Malone (3)
Seemed to show improved form to win at Folkestone last month but on his earlier third is strictly held on lines of form by Classic Role. BP= 9/2

11) 522-125 Allumee Philip Hobbs 7-10-12 Richard Johnson
Won at Worcester in October but overall form is fairly poor. BP= 25/1

12) 10-PP57 Broke Road (IRE) Heather Dalton 10-10-11 Jim Crowley
Modest performer who should not improve much at this age. BP= 50/1

13) 1-F4447 Predicament Jonjo O'Neill 7-10-10 Paddy Brennan
He has not got the best of form figures but this one could be the surprise package of the race. He has been tried over two miles and seven furlongs and two miles and six furlongs on his last two starts but failed to stay. On his earlier form over two miles, when fourth twice, there various lines that suggest he is well handicapped. He may not be the easiest of rides but Paddy Brennan is doing well this season. Could also appreciate the better ground. BP= 40/1

14) 12561 Anticipating Gary Moore 6-10-09 Philip Hide
Has not run since winning a Plumpton novice in November. Has more to here. BP= 11/1

15) 71-24U8 Kawagino (IRE) Seamus Mullins 6-10-07 R Young (3)
Held by Predicament on last form and confidence seems lost after spell of novice chasing. BP= 33/1

SUMMARY
An open race with plenty of novices that could improve but for most this is their first test in a big handicap which is against them. The overwhelming value is for PREDICAMENT who is a huge price at 40/1 and terrific value each-way at the odds offered.

GOOD LUCK
